Momma always said we need 3 good meals a day to be healthy...

I remember growing up and being told to be healthy you need 3 good meals a day. Ok, what is a "good meal" when we are kids we think a good meal means something you like right? Wrong! What Momma meant was healthy food. And in fact studies have shown that eating 3 good meals a day is not the best way to go about it. When I was younger I could eat anything I wanted, when ever I wanted, and never gain an ounce. Sound like you? Well the key words are "when I was younger". After the ripe age of 30 I began to notice getting weight off became a little more challenging. And keeping it off was getting tricky. So that is where it began. Little did I know it would only get harder from there. I mean shoot my Mom was a small petite lady the same size as in her pictures when she was young. Even her Mom was the same, just older. And I never seen them really watch what they ate, so I never thought much more about it. Little did I know that there was probably lots I didn't notice about them. As for me with every year that passes it becomes more challenging. I have tried about every diet I could find. Nothing was working. I have read articles, studies, done countless exercises, you name it. Nothing was working. Until now and its all natural. And here you will find many of my discoveries and lessons learned.

SOME OF THE FACTS I HAVE FOUND:

  • It is actually better for you to eat several small meals throughout a day 4-6 instead of 3 bigger ones.
  • Consuming most of your calories early in the day.
  • To loose weight you MUST burn more calories that you consume.
  • You must drink water and lots of it. You should be drinking have your body weight in ounces a day. (So if you weigh 200 lbs you need 100 ounces of water a day). This is VITAL in keeping all your organs working properly. And flushing toxins and fat out.
  • You must get rest every night for you body to function properly including your metabolism.
  • Your body need antiquate amounts of the proper nutrition and vitamins to work properly.

This is a start. Maybe it will get you mind thinking about you need to change. Please feel free to post any questions, concerns, and if their is any thing you want me to cover in a future blog.

Thank you a d u til next time,
Have a Blessed day.
